We trusted the GHAS system to give the shopping mall its shape, honouring the industrial icons of the middle of the 20th century, but through the use of 21st century structural systems.

Challenge
- Building the façade of a shopping and leisure mall with industrial type architecture reminiscent of the iconic industrial buildings of the middle of the 20th century, but with structural and construction systems of the 21st century.
Solution
Use of the GHAS System on the self-supporting façade in front of the structure was the right solution to free up the brick walls on the outer enclosure from the movements of the structural porticoes, which was particularly relevant since they were made from a metal structure.
Eliminating intermediate structural elements allowed for almost perfectly flat façade cladding, which highlighted the rotundity of the brick walls comprising the enclosure of the buildings.
